I had no idea such a lovely story was sleeping peacefully in the Void while I went about my everyday business of writing and drinking tea. I absolutely adore the whole ambience of Willow Way, and have a feeling there may perhaps be another quiet but charming shop, or even a dwelling of some kind a little further along, possibly around a corner that has not yet been seen.
My only criticism, more of a grumble than a complaint, is that I have work to do, quite a lot of work actually on account of having done almost none last week, but now I wish to explore Willow Way instead. I am sure it has more delights than have so far been brought to my attention.
I can see why you adore this story. It has much to make it delightful.
I have had a most unproductive and disrupted day, and by all rights should be going to bed to read my book (The woman in Black, Susan Hill) before getting some restorative sleep. Instead, I find myself composing a story about Botanical Bethany, and I think you can probably guess where she lives.
I loved reading this. It was whimsical and charming in a way. Love the muskrats, they make great companions. Don’t ask too many questions please.
They definitely have a muskiness to them that’s irresistible
Yeah they definitely do.
Thorough, detailed, and of course about animals!
Utterly charming. I love this world. Snuggly and cosy. And..of course...peculiar pets? The Curator of Echoes of Elsewhere thoroughly approves!
I told you I had a story that reminded me of your emporium! And I think your creature would do well in Barnaby’s little shop!

Thank you.
I’m looking forward to seeing your little shop! And I hope you fall in love with it, just as I have with Barnaby’s Beasts.
Even as I reread this story, I can’t believe I actually wrote it. Hell, I can’t believe I even thought up the idea!
You have been taking over by the Void, and now it is making you do its writing.
Praise be the Void if that’s the case 😂

Is Cyril going to make an appearance??
I do not know yet, Bethany has not told me.
